About Camp Henry

Camp Henry is a safe, fun, and spiritually uplifting program set in one of the most beautiful and magical settings in Western North Carolina.  A Licensed Medical Professional is present to meet the medical needs of campers each week. Also Episcopal Clergy from across the region design and lead the program and prayers and serve as spiritual directors to both campers and staff.

Campers participate in creative, engaging, and diverse programs based on scripture, liturgy, environmental education, and conservation designed by clergy and staff.  Our counselors provide opportunities for the campers to have fun and learn through traditional and nontraditional sports and games, boating, fishing, sailing, hiking, arts/crafts, singing, storytelling, worship, and much more.  Morning and evening prayer, Holy Eucharist, and a spiritual formation program are essential elements to the Camp Henry experience.  This is a great place to have fun, make friends, and grow in one’s faith and as a person.

Our regular camp sessions accept children from kindergarten age through high school (Grade completed by June 2017).  Please see our camp information link for sessions and rates.

LAMP (Leadership. Adventure. And Mission Program):  Formerly the CIT program, our new LAMP initiative will combine the leadership training  aspects of our CIT program, adventure elements of the Camp Henry Outdoor School program, and a local mission based experience.  This is in an incredible opportunity for 10th and 11th graders to learn, grow, and serve.
